About The Role: Traveling to remote and overseas locations to perform onsite calibrations and repairs as needed by the business is a requirement of this role. Main responsibilities include but are not limited to: Perform calibrations within the calibration laboratory's capability on electrical, pressure, torque, temperature, LV/HV PPE, mechanical and dimensional equipment. Follow the procedures set down in the Calibration Manual and as set out in ISO 17025 to maintain a high-quality control within the calibration laboratory. Accurate generation of calibration reports and certifications. Development and maintenance of testing procedures, capabilities, and equipment. Willingness to travel to remote and overseas locations to perform onsite calibration and repairs as required by the business. Maintaining calibration procedures and work instructions. Handling client queries. Preparation of quotations for equipment calibration and repair. Liaise with customers regarding the status of customer jobs. Other technical and administrative duties as required. Work in a team environment. About You: Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience within a calibration laboratory with the following equipment types: Electrical equipment/LV/HV PPE Testing Electronic repairs Temperature/Pressure equipment Torque, mechanical and dimensional equipment Strong knowledge of electronics and/or measurement techniques. Experience writing procedures and work instructions. Experience writing uncertainty budgets and/or calculating uncertainty. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ready to join the team?
