Exciting opportunity for Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing engineering group. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the successful design, development, and execution of innovative technical solutions across Mining, Telecommunications technology and Oil & Gas. Duties & Responsibilities: Lead, mentor and develop a team of professional engineers delivering telecommunication systems and infrastructure solutions. Oversee the design, development, and delivery of safe, compliant, and fit-for-purpose engineering outcomes. Manage resource allocation, capability development, and recruitment within the engineering team. Ensure all engineering outputs meet Australian Standards, legislative, and contract requirements. Drive modern engineering practices, continuous improvement, and innovation across projects. Collaborate with internal stakeholders including project management, operations, procurement, and HSEQ to ensure successful project outcomes. Represent the engineering function across the business and externally, promoting technical excellence and client confidence. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering (eligible for Engineers Australia membership; Chartered status highly regarded). 10 years’ practical engineering experience in related sectors such as Telecommunications, Mining, Oil & Gas, or Defence . Minimum 5 years’ experience in engineering or technical management roles within project-based environments. Proven leadership experience building, managing, and inspiring large technical teams. Strong understanding of engineering design, assurance, and quality management processes. Demonstrated success in change management, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement.
