Manager, Regional Coordination – Loddon Mallee Salary: $138,631 - $185,518 (Plus Superannuation) Ongoing role Usual hours of work: Full time (flexibility may be available) Usual work location: Bendigo, Loddon Mallee region (flexibility may be available) The Role The Manager, Regional Coordination will deliver a dynamic program of work focused on providing strategic advice to the Regional Director and senior stakeholders on regional plans and briefings, leading regional economic recovery planning and preparedness, as well as leading a small team. The responsibilities of the Manager, Regional Coordination will include: Manage and oversee the planning, implementation and delivery of a range of economic development, business and industry activities through regional DJSIR programs. Provide advisory, coordination and leadership support to the Office of the Chief Executive, and for Regional Partnerships and Regional Development Australia Committees, and actively collaborate across RDV. Lead the development, review and delivery of concise and compelling reports, briefs and submissions on complex and sensitive issues. The Team The position of Manager, Regional Coordination forms a part of the Loddon Mallee branch of the Regional Development Victoria group. About You The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience: Specialist Expertise: Proven experience in providing high level authoritative advice on complex and sensitive issues to senior management and key stakeholders; developed understanding of the local region and its community, industry, and government context, local issues, and their context within the regional, State and national settings. Project Management: Excellent project management capabilities with extensive experience delivering projects and strategic initiatives. Conceptual and Analytical Ability: Deals with concepts and complexity comfortably; uses analytical and conceptual skills to reason through problems, analyse data and communicate solutions to decision-makers.
