What you will be doing Reporting directly to the Senior Manager Field Operations and Support, in this role you will be responsible for: Developing, planning and leading projects related to field operations Coordinating activities undertaken by temporary staff in the field to deliver major election events Liaising with stakeholders across the VEC to gather information and requirements for activities to be undertaken in the field, and provide advice for election delivery Leading significant continuous improvement work in the field operations space to address identified areas though election debriefs and internal reviews Working with our team of policy and procedural owners, and event program management team to identify further opportunities for improvement for field delivery What you will bring to the role: Strong leadership skills and experience in managing the delivery and performance of operational delivery teams Proven high-level analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving ability Ability to establish and maintain relationships with people at all levels Demonstrated ability to deliver multiple projects and tasks simultaneously in a time critical environment Experience in election management or large-scale events is highly desirable Commitment to the VEC's core values How to apply All applicants must submit: a current CV and a separate document with responses to Key Selection Criteria (KSC) 6.1, 6.2, 6.4 and 6.5 as listed in the position description.
