Help inspire the next generation of STEM thinkers! We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join our Robots in Residence program - a hands-on program designed to inspire primary school students in STEM learning. Volunteers work alongside a Good Shepherd facilitator to deliver weekly one-hour sessions to students over a 6-week period. Each session involves guiding students through design and coding challenges using curated robotics kits. Volunteers help students think critically, solve problems, and build confidence in their abilities. Who Were Looking For We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds. You dont need to be a tech expert, just bring: - A genuine interest in supporting childrens learning and development - Enthusiasm for STEM and hands-on activities - Reliable and enjoy working in a team Experience in education, youth work, or STEM is helpful but not required. Training and support will be provided. Approximately 4-5 hours required for training and onboarding. Dates starting mid-October. Training Online training includes induction and child safety. In-person training day to prepare for the specifics of the program and how to use the robotics equipment.
