We are seeking an inspiring Mathematics Leader who will champion excellence in mathematics and play a pivotal role in shaping a whole-school approach to numeracy teaching and learning. The position is full time (0.8 by negotiation) and will attract a POL, commencing at the beginning of 2026. What We’re Looking For: The successful applicant will: Demonstrate a strong passion for mathematics education and student learning. Be committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Lead the implementation of the MACS Flourishing Learners Vision for Instruction with a focus on mathematics. Actively contribute to a collaborative and professional learning culture. Hold a current VIT Registration. Be dedicated to ongoing professional growth and development. Key Selection Criteria: Proven ability to plan, sequence and lead a whole-school F–6 mathematics curriculum that is coherent, engaging, and aligned with curriculum standards. Evidence of successfully embedding current, evidence-based approaches in mathematics instruction to improve student learning outcomes. Demonstrated expertise in leading collaborative planning , building teacher knowledge, and modelling effective practices. Strong capacity to use data and evidence to drive improvement , plan targeted interventions, and measure student growth. Experience in supporting staff to differentiate learning , ensuring that all students are challenged and supported in their mathematical development. Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills , with the ability to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
