About the Role As a Therapy Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting our allied health professionals to deliver meaningful outcomes for clients. Your responsibilities will include: Coordinating and assisting with client appointments. Implementing treatment plans under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist. Conducting exercise programs in clients’ homes. Monitoring and reporting any changes in clients’ health, comfort, safety, or progress. Supporting the delivery of rehabilitation and functional programs. This role will suit someone who enjoys variety, is proactive, and thrives on helping others achieve their goals. Essential Criteria Experience working within allied health, community, or rehabilitation settings. Strong teamwork, communication, and documentation skills. Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues. A high level of initiative and a genuine passion for promoting mobility and independence. Proficient computer skills. Minimum availability of 10 hours per week. Willingness to travel to various locations across Perth. Current driver’s license (or eligibility to drive NSW). Overseas graduates and 3rd–4th year Occupational Therapy students are encouraged to apply Desirable Criteria Exercise prescription skills. Knowledge of manual handling and Work Health & Safety practices. Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance (preferred).
