About the role Provide expert nutrition care to oncology patients, in particular to those with head and neck cancers, requiring the ability to manage complex therapeutic dietary interventions and enteral feeding, including coordinating ongoing care post-discharge. Collaborate with multidisciplinary oncology teams, contributing to ward rounds and clinical meetings while helping to develop and implement new policies and practices. Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of oncology nutrition services, driving continuous service improvements and maintaining high standards of care. Engage in clinical research, quality improvement projects, and evidence-based practice to advance oncology nutrition care. Supervise and mentor dietitian students and early career staff, fostering professional development and supporting ongoing personal growth. About you Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics accredited by Dietitians Australia, with eligibility for full membership and preferably APD status; overseas graduates must have passed the Dietitians Australia DSR exam. Highly experienced in complex acute care settings, with a preference for ENT oncology experience and a proven ability to manage complex clinical cases with sound clinical judgement. Skilled in providing clinical services within a tertiary organisation, solving complex problems in partnership with patients and the healthcare team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating leadership and the ability to work collaboratively in a high-demand environment with competing priorities.
