Job Info Location: OAKLEIGH, VIC Salary: Hourly Rate Job Type: Permanent position | Full time position Job Description Work Hours: Ordinary Hours: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday Possible Weekend Work We are a reputable demolition company in Oakleigh looking for a skilled and reliable all-rounder to join our team as a Workshop Personnel & Bin Hook Lift Truck Driver. If you have experience with HC bin hook lift trucks and enjoy working independently, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Truck Driving: Deliver and collect skip bins from demolition sites throughout Melbourne. Experience driving in the metro area is highly regarded. Tarping and Load Restraints: Manage daily tarping and load restraints on the truck, ensuring loads are secure and compliant. Truck Maintenance: Maintain a clean and well-presented truck. Proactively report and address any mechanical issues to ensure smooth and timely service. Paperwork Management: Ensure all relevant paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and on time. Workshop Assistance: Support the workshop team with general duties such as cleaning, assisting with repairs, routine maintenance, and parts management. Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to both internal and external customers, ensuring that deliveries and collections are completed according to the run sheet. Requirements: Truck Licence: Current VIC Roads Truck Licence – HC. Manual truck licence is preferred. Forklift Licence: Preferred. White Card: Construction Industry Card (essential). Experience: o Experience with tarping loads and restraints. o Previous towing experience is preferred. o Mechanical knowledge is an advantage. EPA Course: Completion of the EPA approved Prescribed Waste Course (PIW) preferred, or willingness to undertake the course. Fit for Work: Must be able to pass a full medical with a drug and alcohol assessment. Work Ethic: o Diligent in ensuring deliveries are completed as per run sheet. o Take pride in your truck and personal presentation. o Proactive with truck maintenance to ensure services are always on time. o Comfortable with manual handling tasks. Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Right to Work: Must have the legal right to work in Australia.
