Band 4 (Commencing at $69K, per annum, plus allowances) Permanent full-time 8 day working fortnight About the Role This position is operational and includes responsibility for supervision of the day-to-day activities of the Streetscapes Unit, which provides effective landscape and horticultural presentation and maintenance of HRCC public spaces throughout the municipality. About You The successful applicant will have horticultural certification (Certificate IV preferred) and broad horticultural knowledge/experience. Knowledge and understanding of municipal works implementation and supervision practices is desirable. About the Region Horsham Rural City Council is a vibrant municipality located approximately 300 kilometres north-west of Melbourne. The majority of its 19,880 residents are located in Horsham, a hub for health care, niche retail, education and schooling, community services, arts, sports and culture. There is an abundance of wide-open space, diverse natural assets, including recreational lakes, wetlands, the Wimmera River, Mount Arapiles and nearby Grampians National Park.
