The Role A highly respected, well-established Australian brand is seeking an accomplished Head of Marketing to lead the strategic and operational direction of its marketing function. Your mission: build and elevate the brand as a leading Australian fashion retailer for its target audience. You’ll be a hands-on leader with a blend of commercial acumen, creative vision, and operational discipline, you’ll oversee a high-performing team and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver marketing initiatives that drive growth. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive, seasonal marketing strategy and annual marketing calendar. Coordinate, implement, and drive seasonal advertising campaigns, ensuring all creative output reflects brand identity. Evolve brand positioning to engage younger audiences without losing core customer loyalty. Develop and implement initiatives to maximise revenue and strengthen market leadership nationally, state-wide, and locally. Identify key audience segments and tailor strategies for effective communication and engagement. Assess alternative marketing channels and drive performance marketing strategies. Track, analyse and report on campaign performance and ROI to inform strategy. Develop, coach and grow the skills of the marketing team, fostering a high-performance culture. Build strong relationships internally and externally, collaborating across CRM, visual merchandising, eCommerce, product development, wholesale, customer service, finance, and other teams. Oversee media strategy, planning, buying, and creative production, transitioning key capabilities in-house where possible. About You Strategic and commercially driven, strong ability to blend creative brand leadership with measurable performance outcomes. Retail marketing experience, preferably in fashion but open to strong leaders from adjacent retail sectors. Proven team leader, capable of inspiring and developing teams while fostering collaboration across functions. Data-informed decision maker, analytical skills that complement creative strategy. Influential communicator, confident presenter with the ability to engage and align stakeholders. Resilient and adaptable, able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
