Regional Business Development Manager A unique and rewarding opportunity is available for a strategic and community-focused leader to join a leading Indigenous-led organisation dedicated to empowering First Nations communities in North Queensland. Reporting to the CEO and as part of the senior management team, you will lead a team of four direct reports and play a pivotal role in driving sustainable Indigenous community development in the Lower Gulf of Carpentaria. Key Responsibilities Design and deliver innovative projects that build the capacity of PBCs and Traditional Owner Groups. Develop and implement short- and long-term strategies that promote economic participation and regional growth. Lead and mentor a team of four Project Officers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. Engage with stakeholders including Traditional Owners, government agencies, and community partners to drive shared outcomes. Key Capabilities Strong written communication skills, including experience in grant writing, funding submissions, and budget management. Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Strategic thinker with demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience. Ability to align teams with organisational goals and motivate others to achieve collective success. Willingness and capacity to travel within the region for up to a week at a time.
