This is a full-time role located in North Sydney, offering a salary of $85,000 – $90,000. Role Purpose: Ensure all food and beverage products meet regulatory, safety, quality, and brand standards throughout the supply chain. Provide support for product development, supplier compliance, and technical governance to protect brand reputation and consumer confidence Key Responsibilities: Manage compliance with FSANZ, HACCP, and food regulations, including labelling and nutritional requirements. Conduct supplier and co-manufacturer assessments and maintain approved supplier lists with certifications. Provide technical support for new and existing product development, including specification and artwork reviews. Maintain and improve quality documentation and support audits and inspections. Lead investigations into product issues, recalls, and food safety incidents, implementing corrective actions. Key Requirements: Degree in Food Science, Technology, Microbiology, or related field. 3–5 years’ experience in food technical, QA, or regulatory roles within FMCG, retail, or foodservice. Strong knowledge of FSANZ, HACCP, and food labelling regulations. Excellent attention to detail, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Desirable: Experience with export compliance and international markets. Understanding of sustainability and ethical sourcing.
