We’re looking for an energetic and organised Training & Onboarding Assistant to play a key role in supporting our People & Culture team. This is a dynamic and people-facing role where you’ll coordinate and deliver training and induction programs, support our traineeship initiatives, and help new employees feel welcome and ready to thrive. What You’ll Do: Organise and deliver the City’s monthly induction sessions - from scheduling presenters to welcoming new starters. Support and coordinate training programs and professional development opportunities for staff. Manage the City’s trainee and apprenticeship programs, ensuring participants are supported throughout their journey. Build positive relationships across departments and external training providers. Keep training records accurate and up to date and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. What We’re Looking For: Confidence in front of people - you’ll be presenting and engaging with staff regularly. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational and administrative abilities with attention to detail. A team player with initiative and professionalism. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a commitment to delivering great service.
