The Role We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Practice Manager to lead our Tuggeranong centre on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to not only manage the day-to-day operations of a busy medical centre while contributing to its ongoing growth and success. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will lead a passionate team of healthcare professionals ensuring excellence in performance, people development, and patient care. You will also play a key role in shaping the centre’s strategic direction and creating meaningful outcomes for both patients and the wider community. What You Will Do In this hands-on leadership role you will: Oversee the smooth daily operations of the medical centre while driving continuous improvement Deliver on both operational and strategic initiatives to support long-term success. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of staff and healthcare professionals. Manage recruitment, onboarding, and training to foster a supporting and high-performing culture. Oversee budgets, rosters, and resources to ensure efficiency and sustainability. Support innovation through the implementation of new systems, tools, and process improvements. Build strong relationships with patients, staff, and stakeholders while driving positive business outcomes. Provide hands-on support at the front desk when required, ensuring an exceptional patient experience. What We Are Looking For We are seeking an experienced and people focused leader who is passionate about healthcare and team development. You will bring: Proven leadership experience within the healthcare sector, with a minimum of 12 months in a similar role. Strong organisational, communication, and people management skills. The ability to balance operational demands with strategic thinking. A resilient, motivated, and adaptable approach in a fast-paced environment. Sound business acumen, with an interest in centre performance and growth. Qualifications in Business Administration or Practice Management (desirable) Why Join ForHealth?
