About the Opportunity: Reporting to the Manager, Education & Training Pathways, this newly created role has been established as part of CITB's new Three-Year Training Plan, which sets the direction for how training and workforce development will be delivered across South Australia's construction industry. As the Lead you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the delivery of key education and training initiatives. While you will bring a strategic mindset, this is a hands-on operational role where you will work closely with stakeholders, monitor program performance, and lead a small team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone experienced in the Vocational Education and Training sector who enjoys driving outcomes, solving problems, and making a meaningful impact on workforce development. Key Responsibilities: Support the day-to-day operations and management of funded education and training initiatives, ensuring alignment with the Three-Year Training Plan and responsiveness to industry needs. Manage and coach a small team to deliver program outcomes effectively. Collaborate with training providers, employers, and other stakeholders across the state. Monitor and report on program performance, budgets, and compliance. Support internal audits, compliance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. Contribute to program planning through data analysis and performance insights. To be successful in this role you will have: A tertiary qualification in education, training, business, or a related field. Proven experience in program delivery within the Vocational Education and Training sector, ideally with Registered or Group Training Organisations. Strong people leadership skills and a commitment to coaching and team development. Experience working within quality assurance or compliance frameworks. High level of financial acumen and attention to detail in reporting and budget oversight. Strategic thinking with a practical, outcomes-focused approach.
