Description ABOUT THE ROLE The Partnerships Account Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of club commercial partners with the intent of partner retention and growth. The position focuses on building strong relationships with the brands to best optimise the partnership for the benefit of the brand, our fans and the club. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Partnerships, this role will: Establish strong working relationships with senior and operational partner representatives, ensuring all contractual obligations are fulfilled in a strategic and meaningful way In conjunction with the commercial team, work in a servicing and activation role on match days. Identify and facilitate introductions between partners for further business growth. Act as a key driver in the creation and implementation of partner campaigns and strategies. Proactively develop and present strategic recommendations to partner brands on how to optimise or extend their partnership. Coordinate and deliver additional commercial partner events and experiences. Skills And Experiences OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE We are looking for a motivated and relationship-driven account manager to join our Commercial team; someone who will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The successful candidate will also have: 2–3 years’ experience in sponsorship, partnerships, or marketing. Strong relationship management skills with the ability to engage and influence a range of stakeholders. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines. A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and follow-through skills. High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work. Familiarity with digital marketing and campaign activation (highly regarded). Experience using Salesforce or Monday.com (advantageous but not essential). A collaborative and positive team player who values authenticity and connection. Our ideal candidate can work a wide array of hours with a varying time schedule to suit the seasonal priorities of the football industry. Some interstate travel may be required. The successful candidate is required to undergo and pass a police check, and hold a current and valid Victorian Working with Children’s Check.
