Description Starting imminently with 4 to 8-week duration. As a Special Class Tube Welder, you will apply your expertise in piping setup, structural and welding fabrication, and boiler casings, Air Heaters and/or other fixed plant maintenance ensuring that all work is completed safely, effectively, and to the required standards. Casual Role: DIDO or FIFO outage, located at Callide Power Station in Biloela, QLD. Project Dates: Start date – Imminently for 4-8 weeks. Roster: Monday to Saturday, Days/Nights, 11-hour shifts. Competitive Base Rate with casual loading on all hours Overtime Site Allowance. Other Benefits: LAHA or Accommodation is provided to distant workers. Responsibilities ABOUT YOU Site Proficient: Experienced in outages and projects in the power generation or heavy industrial sector Team Oriented: Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills Workplace Safety: Committed to the safety and wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues Qualifications: Valid Welder’s Ticket, Enter and Work in Confined Spaces (RIIWHS202E), Working at Heights (RIIWHS204E) and Construction white card Trade Certificate: All Welding qualifications will be required to complete an onsite weld test Experience with Air Heaters is an advantage Medical: You are able to pass the required Wood medical. Qualifications The successful candidate will undergo a Wood medical and will be required to provide certificates and WAH, CS tickets before undergoing medical.
