The Company: This team are a great events supplier in the industry and they are looking for an enthusiastic Production Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This company creates stunning installations and show-stopping events for a wide variety of clients. Position Terms: Full-Time Permanent Role, working 5 days in the office Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 plus super depending on experience Weekend and outside of hours work required for events The Role: The Production Manager will work closely with high-end clients across Australia to bring creative visions to life through scoping, planning, drafting, visualising, briefing, sampling, producing and execution. This role will work closely with the production and creative departments to deliver various elements of the production of bespoke and major projects. Key Responsibilities include; Interpret creative and design direction into a production reality through scoping, planning, drafting, visualising, briefing, sampling, producing, and executing. Contribute to improving every project by innovating more sustainable, transportive, and strategic ways to maximise client impact and investment. Bring a passion for creativity, design, quality, and detail to the role. Be responsible for delivering the build and technical aspects of complex, medium to large-scale projects for highly discerning global clients with creative, design, and production standards that set new benchmarks within the market each time. Manage projects with budgets up to circa $3m. Contribute ideas and strategies to continually innovate and evolve the way in which we produce projects for greater efficiencies and outcomes. Work alongside the Creative and Design team throughout the concept and design development phase to ensure production and budget feasibility, meet deadlines, and develop the production design to support this phase. Manage the production deliverables to ensure the concept and design are executed to Agency's standards. Source, brief, and manage all production, technical, and logistics suppliers and leverage those relationships to maximise value and outcomes. Assess and allocate resourcing for a project that aligns project requirements, feasibility, and budget objectives. Draft floor plans, technical plans, and 3D production drawings to support the design, production, and technical delivery. Organise and manage all logistics, operations, and site management. Oversee and implement WH&S, risk management, building compliance, and permitting requirements. Lead and manage the production of multiple projects at a time. Develop, drive, and meet production timelines and scheduling. The Candidate: The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Senior Production Coordinator, Production Manager or Technical Manager within the events industry. You will bring a creative approach to how projects come together, and will have excellent technical knowledge. Drafting experience in Vectorworks and/or CAD is essential. Experience in production, custom build, fabrication, and technical (AV, lighting, rigging) aspects of experiential, spatial design, or related disciplines. Impeccable attention to detail.
