About the Role: We are seeking a Senior Manager Risk and Compliance, to join the risk management function. Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, you will contribute to providing high-level independent oversight of risk-taking activity across the business. In this Specialist Services team you will be responsible for portfolio including Financial Crime, fraud, privacy risk and more. Key Responsibilities: Manage a team of risk professionals, focusing on financial crime, fraud, data and privacy risks across the organisation, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance; Prepare high quality and informative reports to be presented to board committees and the group executive for the business; Ensure good integration between the specialist services team and the core services team with a focus on the group risk management framework to deliver an efficient service delivery for the Risk and Compliance function; Maintain full compliance with all relevant Australian regulations including but not limited to financial crime, AML/CTF laws and rules, Privacy Act 1998 and more; AND Develop strategies to detect, prevent, and respond to relevant incidents within financial crime, ensuring that appropriate measures are in place to safeguard the organisation and external stakeholders. About You: At least 5 years’ experience managing and leading within risk management and compliance in financial services, preferably within superannuation; Strong understanding of relevant regulations within financial crime, AML, fraud, data and privacy within Australia; Holder of a relevant professional qualification within risk and compliance, specialist qualifications i.e. ACAMS is an advantage; Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage and engage with team members; Ability to work across both risk and first line teams for the organisation; AND Must hold unrestricted Australian working right i.e. Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
