Your role at St John of God Midland Hospital St John of God Midland Hospital is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Patient Experience Officer to join our team on a permanent part-time basis (38 hours per fortnight). In this role, you will provide high-quality administrative and liaison support to the Patient Experience Team, helping to drive initiatives that enhance the overall patient journey. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across the organisation to support the implementation of strategies aimed at improving patient care and satisfaction. The Position Collaborate with internal stakeholders on initiatives to improve patient experience. Provide support to the Patient Experience Coordinator with the management of feedback. Promote positive feedback to caregivers in consultation with Nurse Unit Managers and Heads of Departments. Enter complaints data into Riskman and entry to the complaints trackers Engage in opportunities to inform patient experience improvement strategies based on analysis of data. Perform general administrative duties including data entry, filing, word processing, scanning and photocopying. Maintain accurate and timely records of patient experience feedback into electronic systems such as ‘RiskMan’ and other trackers to enable meaningful interpretation of data. Assist in providing timely responses to Ministerial requests. Compliance with the legal and ethical requirement to maintain patient confidentiality. Ongoing commitment to update skills and seek learning opportunities in complaints management and patient experience. Assist with monthly reporting. All other reasonable duties as directed by the relevant Manager/Supervisor. Position Requirements The successful candidate will possess high-level interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with a willingness and ability to provide constructive feedback. You will have a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, supporting collaboration and engagement across teams. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently while managing competing priorities are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel, is required, along with a high level of general computer literacy.
