Flexibility: We support flexible work arrangements. Role & Responsibilities: Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts in collaboration with Operational Managers. Monitor performance against budget and provide variance analysis. Development of models in Excel and other programmes to provide input to business decision making Produce accurate and timely monthly management reports for internal stakeholders. Develop and maintain financial reports and tools to assist Management in managing budgets and performance Ensure reporting deadlines are met in a timely and efficient manner Undertake cost benefit analysis for various projects as determined in the annual organisational wide business plan. Analyse costs to identify efficiency opportunities. Support the implementation of cost control measures and monitor cost-saving initiatives. Collaborate with Operational managers to provide financial insights. Conduct regular meetings with key stakeholders to enhance financial acumen across the organisation Support operational decision-making through financial analysis and advice. Consult with stakeholders as relevant to the role, ensuring effective communication with the Anglican Care team and external suppliers in all aspects of service delivery Participate in continuous improvement programs as required. Participate in cross business improvement projects within the management accounting function. About you? Tertiary qualification in Accounting CA or CPA qualified Current drivers’ licence A current Working with Children check (with clearance to work with children) A current NDIS Check National Police Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes) Five years professional experience in management accounting, analysis of results and reporting to tight deadlines Experience in the development and monitoring of budgets Demonstrated ability to implement change and continuous improvement. Proven ability to project plan. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comprehensive experience in working within a flexible, multi-skilled team environment with advanced interpersonal, communication, negotiation and customer service skills.
