You represent the firm to regulators, clients, and external auditors, oversee strategic initiatives, and manage location operations. You play a key role in supporting business growth and maintaining high standards of compliance and operational excellence. You work collaboratively across teams to deliver results that matter to us and the wider community. You drive the location agenda, manage budgets and lead real estate strategy for Australia. You chair governance forums, approve new business initiatives and ensure seamless coordination with regional and global partners. Your leadership supports a culture of integrity, innovation, and continuous improvement. You help build strong relationships with stakeholders and contribute to the success of JPMorgan Chase in Australia. Job responsibilities Serve as the main point of contact for governance and control matters in Australia Manage the location agenda on behalf of the ANZ Chief Executive Officer Approve new business initiatives impacting ANZ Represent ANZ in regional forums and legal entity board meetings Chair the ANZ Location Operating Committee Manage the location budget for events and sponsorships Drive real estate strategy for the location Directly manage the Location Control Manager and Australia Corporate Center Location Manager Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements Build strong partnerships with business and functional leaders Escalate and address conflicts or issues as needed Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Minimum 15 years of experience working in a multinational bank or financial institution Strong knowledge of business operations and regulatory environment across Australia and New Zealand Excellent influencing and partnership skills Proven ability to communicate clearly and present to senior audiences Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills Results-driven with attention to detail Ability to address conflicts directly and escalate issues appropriately Experience in operational risk and control processes Demonstrated leadership in managing teams and complex projects High level of integrity and professionalism Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Experience representing a firm in regulatory engagements Experience chairing governance forums or committees Experience managing budgets and real estate strategy Experience working with senior stakeholders across regions Experience in change management and process improvement
