About the Position This opportunity open to current ACM team members who are seeking a new challenge. As the Payroll Manager, you will utilise your experience to lead the delivery of efficient payroll operations while driving key initiatives to enhance payroll systems and align with evolving business needs. You’ll collaborate closely with People & Culture, Finance, IT and Operational teams to optimise the application of rostering and time & attendance best practices within HumanForce. Full time ongoing position. Band 5.1 $122,105.00 plus superannuation. Accountabilities Lead and mentor the Senior Payroll Officer Oversee and provide leave coverage for the processing of fortnightly and weekly pay runs for over 1,000 team members Ensure compliance with relevant payroll, superannuation and tax legislation, ACM’s Enterprise Agreement and any other legislative or regulatory requirements Develop, implement, and review contemporary payroll management procedures and services to achieve organisational goals and objectives, and develop performance indicators to monitor and measure outcomes Oversee payroll projects and identify and implement improvement initiatives to streamline payroll processes Assess and evaluate Rostering and Time & Attendance and Payroll systems and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and highlighting risk areas; implement controls to minimise underpayments and to ensure ongoing wage compliance Develop change management strategies and plans for projects and/or change initiatives Evaluate the impact of planned organisational change Identify risks and develop risk mitigation plans Lead change management projects with a structured methodology/ processes Define success metrics and measure performance against these Provide regular reporting and other updates to management and project teams Your Skills and Experience Detailed knowledge of principles of contemporary Rostering, Time & Attendance, and payroll management and practices gained over several years’ experience Extensive experience working in complex Rostering, Time & Attendance, or payroll environments, across multiple organisations that have, one or more Enterprise Agreements in place Experience working in a demanding environment that is regularly subject to changing priorities Diploma or above in Accounting, Finance, Business, Business Administration, Human Resources, or similar discipline will be highly regarded Strong attention to detail and can maintain confidentiality.
