We’re looking for motivated and high-performing TRUCK DRIVERS and TRUCK OFF-SIDERS to join our Logistics team for the upcoming berry season 2025/26. About the opportunity: These are key positions in our operation, ensuring our high-quality fruit is collected from farms and delivered safely and on time to our Distribution Centre in East Devonport. Successful candidates will be employed on a casual basis with regular rostered shifts, including weekends. Tasks include, but are not limited to: Loading fruit into trucks while following required safety procedures Transporting fruit to the Distribution Centre (East Devonport), ensuring fruit quality and road safety Communicating with the logistics team to coordinate fruit collection from farms Keeping accurate records of the fruit delivered Successful candidates will have: A valid MR Driver’s Licence (or higher) with at least 6 months’ driving experience – translated international licences are accepted Physical fitness, as the role involves carrying, lifting, and bending (a Health & Safety medical may be required) The ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate well to achieve results The ability to work under pressure in a diverse team environment Strong time management, planning, and organisational skills A reliable way to get to work every day Commitment and availability to work until the end of the season What we offer: Full-Training provided for all tasks creating work flexibility and consistency Paid in line with the Costa Berries Enterprise Agreement Free Access to an Employee Assistant Program (EAP) Opportunities for Learning, Development, and progression.
