About the role Seeking experienced heavy diesel mechanics, trucks and trailers. Handle repairs, servicing, and rebuilds in a supportive team. Flexible day or afternoon shifts with competitive pay. If you're trade-qualified and experienced, apply now! Duties Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on heavy vehicles in line with manufacturer standards. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults using dealership tools and diagnostic equipment. Perform engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and driveline repairs. Undertake engine and component rebuilds where required. Accurately record service and repair work in dealership systems. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment. Work collaboratively with service advisors, parts interpreters, and fellow technicians to deliver excellent customer service. Adhere to workplace health and safety policies and manufacturer guidelines Skills and experience Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent trade qualification). Proven experience as a heavy vehicle mechanic, preferably in a dealership or OEM service environment. Experience in engine and component rebuilds highly desirable. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Ability to work with electronic diagnostic equipment and service manuals. Sound understanding of safety and compliance requirements in a workshop setting. Current driver’s licence Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and meeting manufacturer standards. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
