Description About The Role: Commissioning, testing and maintaining: HV Protections systems / schemes, experience with IEC61850 / GOOSE communications HV Substations secondary systems and primary plant HV/LV Plant/Assets Power Generation Systems Power Transformers. Provide leadership, supervision, technical support and training to technicians. Preparation of commissioning/testing documentation, protection test plans and create detailed technical reports on completion of works. About You: Must hold "A Grade" (Fitter and Mechanic) Electrical Workers License. Engineering Degree or Diploma in Power Systems would be highly regarded. Minimum 10 years' experience. HV Switching Ticket preferred. Experience with IEC61850 and GOOSE messaging through IED Scout viewed favourably. Knowledge of appropriate Australian and International Standards. Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, policies and procedures. Proven ability meeting project quality, schedule and budget requirements. Ability to promote a high standard of safety, professionalism and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
