Job Description SGS has a great opportunity for a Geochemistry Laboratory Manager join our relief pool. This is a FIFO position travelling to our various onsite Laboratories: Responsibilities include, however not limited to: Keep clients informed on progress of samples and answer queries. Manage priorities and monitor progress to ensure timeliness and quality of results. Ensure staff training and records are kept. Responsible for quality and accuracy of results. Provide regular management and quality reports. Ensure equipment is adequately maintained. Maintain and improve own knowledge to be able to contribute towards progression of the laboratory. Responsibility for P&L whilst working within a defined budget. Contribute to setting operating and capex budget
