Support the Financial Reporting Manager in oversight of financial accounting, month end processes and balance sheet reconciliations Lead a team of 2-3 direct reports and provide mentoring and coaching to the broader financial accounting team Reviewing and analysing monthly financial accounts of JB Hi-Fi New Zealand (Profit & Loss) Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timely resolution of variances Assist all internal stakeholders and store leaders with queries and ad hoc requests Play an active role in projects to improve financial reporting and the set-up and integration into the finance systems of new products and offerings, and documenting changes to processes and procedures Drive the development and implementation of finance processes and systems to reconcile and report on new product and service offerings, including process improvements in financial accounting and month end processes Other ad-hoc tasks and projects as required Qualifications Minimum 6 years' experience, preferably within a retail/similar environment, and experienced in supervising or coaching team members A Chartered Accountant or CPA Proven financial accounting skills, acute attention to detail, and high degree of analytical skill Experience in using a large ERP system preferred, and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
