We provide services and supports to adults, and families with accompanying children in the form of accommodation, case management, assertive outreach, financial assistance, community connection and referral services. About the role As a Support Worker, this is your opportunity to collaborate with Case Managers of the Alice Springs Hub and Street 2 Home programs. These programs are designed to support people facing complex life challenges such as homelessness, substance use, mental health issues and social disconnection. Reporting to the Team Leader, this is a permanent, full-time position, based in Alice Springs, NT. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the SCHADS Award, level 2. How you will make an impact To work closely with the Case Managers of The Alice Springs Hub and Street 2 Home programs, supporting participants facing complex life challenges such as homelessness, substance use, mental health issues and social disconnection. Ensure the Alice Springs Hub is a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment where participants feel empowered to engage, heal and thrive. Ensure Waterhole users are treated fairly and equally. Assist the Waterhole staff to maintain a clean and tidy site. What you will bring Cert IV Community Services (desirable) Experience working in a similar role Self-motivated and shows a high level of initiative. Experience working with people who may not have English as a first language and knowledge of Local Aboriginal Communities and Culture. A Working with Children (Ochre Card) Vulnerable people check is required A National police Record Check.
