POSITION: Delivery Driver / Production Team Member Experience Essential This role requires a relatively equal amount of time completing deliveries duties and inhouse production duties. Delivery Duties will include: Drive ISUZU open tray truck (6 pallet) (AUTO) Drive Delivery Ute (manual) (2 pallet max) Prepare orders for delivery including picking and packing when necessary Load and unload truck and ute using forklift Load and unload truck and ute manually/by hand as required Liaise clearly and concisely with production and customer service teams Determine and follow most efficient delivery routes Communicate with customers, professionally representing Demtech Australia Maintain company vehicle cleanliness (inside and out) Ensure management is informed of vehicle service requirements in advanced Maintain good safe working condition of delivery vehicles at all times Part take in general production duties as required Assist production team members under team leader/production co-ordinator instruction as required Production Duties will include: Forklift Operation PU Foam Block Moulding / Demoulding Aluminium Pre-Assembly Process Fast Wire Cutting of PU Foam Blocks Load and Unload Auto Membrane Spray Line / Operation Pick Packing of goods for dispatch Cleaning of Production area Other General Production Duties as required Skill Experience & Attribute requirements: Minimum medium Rigid Truck License (Essential) Manual driver’s license (Essential) Fork lift license (Essential) Ability to read and understand Job Slips (Picking slips, Manufacturing Slips) Knowledge of and ability to adherence to OH&S requirements Must be Physically fit Must have reasonable hand eye co-ordination and motor skills Must have knowledge of vehicle maintenance and care Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment Ability to work well during busy periods, whilst staying organised Ability to perform inherent requirements of the role Must be punctual and willing to go over and above to ensure customer satisfaction and job completion Ability to follow instructions from management Prior experience in same or similar (Essential) Proven good driving record The MR truck will be your primary delivery vehicle; however, you will be required to drive the utility from time to time. The candidate must be proactive, be able to use initiative, be respectful of colleagues, must be punctual, approach work with a positive attitude, apply a great work ethic, be professional and presentable and must be willing to be up skilled allowing growth within the company. Both team work and individual capabilities are a required.
