A bit about the role In this role, you’ll play a key part in the City of Casey’s OneCouncil transformation, helping redesign and streamline how services are delivered to our community. You’ll work across departments to map, analyse and improve business processes, using your problem-solving skills and data-driven mindset to create real, lasting impact. From leading workshops to collaborating with stakeholders and applying Lean and Six Sigma tools, you’ll help shape more efficient, customer-focused services. What you’ll deliver Drive the design and optimisation of end-to-end business processes across departments, aligning with the goals of the OneCouncil transformation program. Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to understand current workflows, identify improvement opportunities, and co-design future state processes. Utilise industry best-practice tools to map, analyse and enhance processes for greater efficiency and improved customer outcomes. Leverage data and performance insights to inform process redesign, measure success, and support continuous improvement. Maintain rigorous quality standards across process documentation, stakeholder engagement, and implementation activities to support seamless delivery. What you’ll bring Tertiary qualifications and strong experience in process mapping, analysis, and redesign using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive efficiency and customer value. A track record of successfully delivering process optimisation and transformation initiatives within large-scale or multi-departmental programs. Strong ability to engage cross-functional teams, facilitate workshops, and influence diverse stakeholders, including senior leaders, to support change and drive outcomes. Demonstrated ability to leverage data and insights to identify opportunities, inform decision-making, and measure the impact of process improvements. Proficiency in TechnologyOne – OneCouncil, JIRA, Visio, Mural, and Office 365 tools (including SharePoint and OneDrive), with a keen ability to adapt to new technologies and digital environments. Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check and Eligibility to Work check.
