To learn more about our company values, visit www.douglaspartners.com.au About the Role Your new role will support the Sydney branch as a key go-to person who proactively thinks on their feet and problem solves to contribute to the smooth-running of the branch. You will be working within an established administrative team that assists the consulting staff by covering reception and administrative duties. Your responsibilities include: Efficiently assist the consulting staff by applying your understanding of our systems, processes and policies effectively. Assist with Sydney Quality Assurance compliance. General office administrative duties, such as data entry, word processing and filing. Maintaining general office record system including invoicing, reconciliation, credit notes, project closures and archiving. Organisation of staff logistics including calendar management, travel, accommodation and vehicle bookings. Format and compile of reports / proposals. Support staff with some basic IT or software issues / functions. Reception duties as required including phone management. Assist with arrangement of client and staff social events. Support colleagues with administrative overflow whenever required. About You Background in Engineering is highly desirable. Strong analytical thinking with the ability to solve problems and collaborate on innovative solutions. High attention to detail and accuracy. Advanced computer and technology skills, with intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite. Well-developed verbal and written communication skills. Quick to learn new technologies, with a willingness to support and train others. Ability to remain proactive and solution-focused under pressure, supporting both internal and external stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships across the organisation. Genuine interest in helping others and contributing to a team environment. Effective time management. Proactive, adaptable and comfortable in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. Reliable with a strong work ethic. Availability to work in the office four days per week.
