Accounting and Tax practice in Tuggerah seeking a Tax Accountant to join our team in a full time or part time role. Job tasks and responsibilities; · Preparation of all types of tax returns · Posting of entries in MYOB, QuickBooks and Xero · Preparation of BAS, wages and Reconciliation · Prepare Financial Statements and Client Reports · Tax compliance work and dealing with the ATO · Various other tasks as required by Managers Qualifications and experience; · Diploma or degree in accounting · Experience with preparing tax returns and financial statements · Minimum 2-3 years' experience preparing tax returns · 1-2 years' experience in public practice · Understanding of Australian taxation requirements and compliance regulations · Familiarity of accounting software technology · Proficiency in MYOB and Xero accounting software is essential · Must be an Australian permanent resident Please include a full resume and cover letter in your application.
