Part-Time Payroll Officer (Tue–Thu, Flexible Hours) About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Officer to join our Finance team on a part-time basis. Working Tuesday to Thursday with flexible hours, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll across multiple entities, maintaining compliance with legislative requirements, and supporting the smooth running of payroll systems and reporting. Key Responsibilities Process weekly payroll accurately and on time. Maintain employee records in HR3 and Time Target. Manage PAYG, payroll tax, superannuation, and workers compensation obligations. Prepare and distribute pay slips, payment summaries, and end-of-year reports. Ensure compliance with awards, agreements, and legislative changes. Perform reconciliations, month-end and year-end reporting. Resolve payroll queries and discrepancies. Assist with audits, reporting, and ad hoc finance projects. About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or in a similar role. Hands-on knowledge of payroll systems (HR3 highly regarded). Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors. Strong knowledge of relevant awards, agreements, and compliance requirements.
