We’re looking for a Restaurant Manager to join our flagship venue in Chadstone. Industry Beans Chadstone offers an innovative all-day brunch and dining menu, all brought together under one roof with on-site coffee roasting, private dining, functions and a curated retail shop. Industry Beans Chadstone is a must-visit destination for the local community, tourists, food and coffee lovers alike. The Role The Restaurant Manager will oversee responsibility of the venue, working within a supportive and systematic structure to deliver premium quality product, service and experience. Working under a progressive but consistent menu framework, and responsible for managing a large team, the right person will be experienced and passionate with a strong hospitality background with the ability to lead a team to execute the ultimate customer experience. This role offers the opportunity to: Be a key part of an experienced and passionate team in a luxury flagship venue Develop and lead multiple departments and a large team with the support of an experienced Head Office team Work with a leading specialty coffee roaster with an innovative approach to coffee and food Benefit from attractive remuneration and incentives Grow within an exciting and fast moving company Tasks and responsibilities: Develop a positive team culture, consistent with the Industry Beans brand values Drive a market leading service experience and establishing a standard that all team members follow Maintain quality, standards, safety and presentation of entire site, including restaurant, kitchen, office, training, events and roastery areas. Host functions, events with the support of a Functions Manager Work closely with the Head Chef in identifying opportunities to increase sales and improve customer experience General Management administrative duties including rostering, timesheet approval, ordering, stocktake etc. You’ll be perfect for this role if you have: A passion for specialty coffee and hospitality At least two years’ experience in a similar management role Strong all-round FOH skills (service, waiting, functions & hosting) The ability to influence, manage and achieve buy-in from your team A passion for creating the ultimate customer experience Advanced interpersonal, communication, customer service and leadership skills A strong work ethic with ability to meet and surpass KPIs Both an ability and enthusiasm to manage systems and software RSA (required) A current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (desirable) A current First Aid and CPR certificate (desirable) Our Culture & Employee Benefits Industry Beans is committed to an inclusive, healthy, skilled and dedicated workplace.
