About the role We're seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to join our vibrant team at Hecho en Mexico in Cheltenham, Victoria. As a full-time role, you'll be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of our popular restaurant operation, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving continuous improvements to enhance the overall guest experience. What you'll be doing Manage day-to-day restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and financial oversight Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner Implement and monitor policies, procedures, and service standards to maintain the highest levels of quality and efficiency Lead, motivate, and develop a team of servers, hosts, and other front-of-house staff Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure menu items are consistently prepared and presented to brand standards Analyse sales data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategic initiatives Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations What we're looking for Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar restaurant management role Exceptional customer service skills and a proven track record of delivering an outstanding dining experience Strong leadership and team-building abilities, with the capacity to motivate and develop staff Proficient in inventory management, budgeting, and financial reporting Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically Thorough understanding of food safety, liquor licensing, and other relevant regulations Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences What we offer At Hecho en Mexico, we are committed to nurturing a positive and inclusive work environment that supports the growth and development of our employees.
