About the Company Our client, based in Rockhampton, is an established facility campus based in Rockhampton offering educational services and studies to the local community. To support their premises, they are seeking an enthusiastic and friendly Barista Bar Attendant to assist them in kick starting their new bar/eatery on site. This role will commence working 3 days per week (Wednesday to Friday). Wednesday and Thursday shift times will be approx. 11:00am-3:00pm and Friday shift time will be 11:00am-5:00pm. About the Role Provide excellent service to guests by taking orders, making and serving coffee and food / beverages, and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience Assist with preparation of coffee/tea, and hot foods including toasties, pizza etc Provide excellent table service ensuring high standard of customer service Maintain cleanliness and high standard if housekeeping Process transactions accurately and handle cash or card payments via POS Support special events and functions as needed Experience/Qualifications Cafe or barista experience (essential) RSA (preferred) Food safety certified (preferred but not essential) Current driver license and personal vehicle Availability for the above mentioned hours (Wednesday-Thursday 11am-3pm and Friday 11am-5pm) Benefits Great hourly rate penalties Set hours each week to work around your lifestyle (ideal for a student or a working holiday maker) A positive and supportive work environment Room to increase your weekly hours if you wish with a variety of retail positions within the campus Potential to be involved in in upcoming functions and dining activities How to Apply If you’re excited to join a dynamic team and make a difference in our client's guests’ experiences, please submit your resume and a brief cover letter C&H Recruitment is an equal opportunity employer.
