Join our Holiday Inn team as a Reservations Agent and you'll be the first point of contact for our guests, assisting with booking enquiries and ensuring every interaction reflects our brand promise of Making Our Guests Smile . You will collaborate closely with other departments to guarantee that every reservation is accurate and ready for a seamless check-in experience. Your day to day: Ensuring customer service is of the highest possible standard over the phone or via email Accurately process reservations, amendments, payments and cancellations Identify opportunities for sales to maximise hotel occupancy Regularly obtain and evaluate guest feedback. Handling any concerns in a timely manner and inline with hotel standards Be confident and knowledgeable in all special promotion procedures and IHG One Rewards loyalty program Maintaining accurate records of booking correspondence and load rooming lists What we need from you Previous experience in Hotel Front Office operations or Hotel Reservations is preferred Energy and personality that reflects our brand of Making Our Guests Smile Confidence in providing exceptional guest service via phone or email, showcasing the Holiday Inn brand Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to respond professionally to guests in writing Time management skills to work autonomously at times and manage own workload Confident in using Outlook email, Microsoft Word & Excel and previous exposure to Opera is an advantage What we offer you We give our people everything they need to succeed.
