About the Role: We are seeking an experienced ICT Analyst/Digital Transformation officers to support and enhance the performance and usability of a secure, air-gapped Local Area Network (LAN) within a scientific laboratory environment. You will work closely with scientists, technicians, and ICT professionals to modernize digital workflows, improve data management, and ensure reliable and secure laboratory operations. Work location : Sydney & Melbourne, 7 months contract , BASELINE security clearance needed Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with laboratory teams to implement effective digital workflows and procedures leveraging the air-gapped LAN. Map and document data flows and storage systems, building a clear view of the current digital environment. Maintain and update software inventories, licences, and vendor details to support planning and procurement. Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and project governance updates for management and user forums. Contribute to sustainable, secure digital practices through documentation, analysis, and continuous improvement. Essential Skills & Experience: Minimum 3 years experience supporting IT enhancement or digital transformation projects (e.g., workflow, data, or information management systems). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills; able to work independently under broad direction . Proven ability to collaborate effectively with technical, scientific, and management stakeholders . Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentation.
