About the role We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic General Manager to lead Ultimate Plant Trailers Pty Ltd, a successful manufacturing company based in North Geelong, Victoria. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business and driving continued growth and profitability. What you'll be doing Providing strong leadership and direction to the management team and all employees Developing and executing the company's strategic business plan to achieve ambitious growth targets Overseeing all day-to-day operational functions, including production, finance, HR, sales and marketing Building and maintaining key client and supplier relationships to drive business development Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing operational efficiencies Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and company policies Analysing financial and operational data to inform decision-making and drive performance Fostering a positive, collaborative and high-performing organisational culture What we're looking for Extensive experience as a General Manager or in a senior executive role, ideally within the manufacturing or engineering sector Proven track record of leading organisational growth and delivering strong financial results Excellent strategic and commercial acumen, with the ability to develop and execute successful business plans Outstanding leadership, people management and stakeholder engagement skills Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making and critical thinking abilities Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting Tertiary qualifications in business, engineering or a related discipline What we offer At Ultimate Plant Trailers, we are committed to providing our employees with a rewarding and supportive working environment.
