About the Role Seeking a highly skilled Company Accountant to oversee the financial operations of our client's growing group of businesses. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for managing accounting functions, compliance reporting, payroll, and cashflow management, while also providing valuable insights to support commercial decision-making. You’ll work closely with the Commercial Manager and General Manager, delivering accurate reporting and analysis, supporting business projects, and ensuring the smooth running of finance operations. Key Responsibilities Finance administration including reconciliations, journals, and general ledger management Compliance reporting (GST, BAS, tax returns, statutory accounts, FBT, audits) Payroll processing and related obligations (PAYG, super, payroll tax) Cashflow management and reporting, including weekly forecasting Preparing management reports, budgets vs actuals, and cost analysis Supporting department managers with financial insights and budget preparation Streamlining procedures and ensuring accurate financial documentation What We’re Looking For CA or CPA qualified Proven experience as a Company Accountant in a medium to large business Strong knowledge of financial and management accounting, compliance, and payroll Experience with ERP/accounting systems, MYOB, and Microsoft Office (Excel essential) Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to plan, prioritise, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment How to Apply If you’re a detail-driven accountant with a commercial mindset and the ability to influence business decisions, we’d love to hear from you.
