Description Prepare and manage accurate budgets and forecasts for the Science Faculty. Analyse financial data to support decision-making processes. Produce regular financial reports, ensuring compliance with organisational guidelines. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address financial queries and provide advice. Monitor faculty expenditure and highlight variances to the leadership team. Support the implementation of financial systems and process improvements. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and policies. Assist with ad hoc financial projects as required by the department. Profile A successful Management Accountant should have: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement. Knowledge of accounting standards and compliance requirements in Australia.
