We are currently seeking an experienced Internal/External Sales Coordinator working in our Bibra Lake Office. About the role Reporting to the Sales Manager and working within a small sales team, you will deliver a high level of customer service to clients and key stakeholders. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about the customer experience. Day to day you will manage enquiries, provide selection support, prepare quotes, process orders and keep customers updated through to dispatch. You will also drive business development by nurturing existing accounts, identifying new opportunities in our target sectors and following up to convert proposals into work. On the technical side, you will help customers troubleshoot hydraulic/mechanical issues, cross-reference obsolete parts to current equivalents, source alternatives via suppliers/OEMs and propose practical upgrade or retrofit solutions - turning problems into well-scoped orders. Key Responsibilities Managing customer accounts, including all calls, emails and enquiries Assisting customers with technical product selection by interpreting catalogues, data sheets and product information, including cross-referencing obsolete parts to suitable equivalents or upgrades Maintaining relationships with existing customers and developing new relationships where appropriate Preparing and submitting quotes, with timely follow-up to convert opportunities into orders Generating sales orders, purchase orders, invoices and shipping documentation, and keeping customers informed on ETAs and dispatch Assisting with stock ordering, including expediting backorders where required Build relationships with existing accounts and prospect new business opportunities where appropriate Skills & Experience Previous experience in internal sales or technical customer service (hydraulics, mechanical or industrial parts) Quoting experience, including preparing simple sales proposals and following through to invoicing Parts interpretation in hydraulics or a similar industry, with the ability to translate technical needs into practical solutions Confident reading catalogues and data sheets; able to provide sizing/selection support for hydraulic components Accurate order processing and documentation; comfortable using shared job trackers, spreadsheets and inventory/ERP systems Solid hydraulics knowledge and the ability to translate technical needs into practical solutions Strong time management and organisational skills; able to juggle multiple enquiries Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Proficient PC skills (Outlook, Word and Excel) High attention to detail Positive, confident and enthusiastic attitude Current driver's licence and willingness to attend local client/site visits We are dedicated to finding the right candidate for this role.
