Due to sustained growth and demand for the firm's services, Paxon is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join its growing Private Client Services Division within its Perth office. The firm will consider both full-time and part-time candidates interested in the role, we also offer flexible working arrangements to cater for personal circumstances. Paxon will also assist the successful candidate with any professional education qualifications in reaching CPA or CA status. The successful candidate will demonstrate the following: Strong background in Public Practice AccountingStrong ability to provide analytical review of client businessesSound understanding of cash flows, business reporting and business profitabilityExcellent understanding of accounting packages, particularly MYOB, Xero, QuickbooksStrong communication skills to respond to client queries and requestsExcellent written skills for corresponding with clientsHigh level of expertise in Microsoft office related productsAbility to work autonomously.A minimum of 5 years public practice accounting experienceDegree qualified in a related field CPA or CA certification is preferred or currently undertaking the certification would be highly regarded, but is not essential Paxon utilises the latest analytical and financial performance software that supports the advisory services delivered to clients by the firm.
