Opportunity: Become a Trainee Road Train operator in our New to Industry Program Be trained to self-load and operate side tipping triple and quad road trains across our various mine sites located in WA/NT. Participate in a paid, structured training program will provide you with the on the job training, knowledge and skills needed to be successful in the Mining and Resource Sector. Learn from our professional Trainers and Experienced Operators To welcome new people into the industry, we will be holding an assessment centre to provide information about our business and give us the opportunity to meet you in person. This assessment centre is designed to give you a chance to demonstrate your aptitude and explore the opportunity to join our growing team. Event Details: Location: Perth CBD Date: Friday, 19th of September 2025 Hours: 8:00am – 5pm About the Assessment Centre: MLG will present an overview of MLG Oz and the Road Train Training Program 1:1 Interviews will be conducted with our Recruitment Team Psychometric Computer Based Testing A Group Activity Morning Tea & Lunch will be provided To be considered for this opportunity you will meet the following requirements: 2 Years experience driving truck/trailer combo Ability to work a FIFO 2:1 roster, including dayshift/nightshift Current & Valid MC Australian Drivers Licence, or holding a HC licence and willing to get MC licence Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance Full Australian working rights A willingness to learn and desire to succeed A strong focus on safety for yourself and others around you Should you be successful following the assessment centre, we would look to place you in one of our upcoming intakes in August 2025, September 2025 or November 2025.
