Reporting to the Leading Hand/Supervisor your key responsibilities are: Assist with lift plans and lifting activities Align level and anchor machinery Maintain and tag rigging gear as required Ensure rigging gear is stored correctly Assist with setup of cranes ensuring barricading, exclusion zones and signage to comply with site specific requirements Attach appropriately rated rigging gear to existing structures to facilitate the movement of loads using chain blocks, pulleys, tirfors and lever hoists Maintain and keep tools and equipment in a safe and clean condition. Lock them away or return to store when not required Housekeeping Perform other general duties as required
