The Role: As we continue to grow and evolve, we’re looking for a HR Generalist to join our team and help shape the employee experience. If you’re a hands-on HR professional who enjoys working across a range of HR functions and looking to make a real impact, this could be the perfect role for you! Reporting to the HR Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering HR support across all areas of the business. Your key duties will be: Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies and handling employee queriesMediate minor workplace disputes and foster positive relationshipsSupport and coach managers in handling low-level performance or conduct issuesSupport internal training programs and coordinate professional development opportunitiesAssist in performance review processes and support managers with performance improvement plansDrive employee engagement initiatives, including social events and engagement surveysEnsure compliance with employment legislation and assist in updating HR policiesProvide HR advice to managers, assist with workforce planning, and keep HR documentation up to dateProvide support to the finance team in managing payroll processes and related activities About You: 3 years of experience in a generalist HR roleProven experience in advising employees and managers on HR policies, employment laws, and best practicesBackground in start-up or scale-up businesses, bringing agility and a growth-focused mindsetStrong communication and conflict resolution skills to handle sensitive situationsA hands-on, adaptable approach, thriving in a fast-paced environmentExperience with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent organisation and attention to detail, with a process-driven mindsetSolutions focused with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected challengesExperience in planning and executing HR projects, such as policy rollouts or training programs.Working knowledge of payroll processes and procedures What you’ll Love: At Fitness Passport, we’re not just about providing access to great gyms and wellness facilities — we’ve also created a fantastic place to work.
