About the Role Following our recent success in securing the Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) tender, MTC has exciting opportunities for motivated Employer Advocates to join our team across the Sydney Metropolitan Area including Bankstown, Cabramatta, Hurstville, Liverpool, Marrickville and Parramatta.Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Employer Advocate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with employers to create meaningful employment opportunities for IEA participants. You will work collaboratively with employers to encourage inclusive hiring practices, deliver training on workplace diversity and support strategic workforce planning and retention strategies. The key responsibilities of the role will include:Developing tailored interventions to support both participants and employers in achieving sustainable employment outcomes.Collaborating with employers to plan and develop workforce strategies that create future job opportunities and improve staff retention.Partnering with ongoing support practitioners to co-design solutions that help participants remain engaged in long-term employment.Identifying opportunities to deliver training around workplace diversity and customised employment.About You To succeed in this role, you will have:Lived experience or relevant experience supporting people with a disability.Qualifications in Employment or Disability services highly regarded.Exceptional customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.Demonstrated understanding of the local labour market and employer needs.Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic and high-pressure environments.Clear and adaptable communication skills.Passion for inclusive employment and supporting people with disability.Familiarity with disability service standards and case management principles.Cultural competence and the ability to work effectively with diverse communities.High level of digital literacy.Valid, unrestricted driver’s licence.Why Choose Us For us, it’s more than just work.
