The Role We are seeking a Trainee Recruitment Consultant — Property Development, Construction & Real Estate. In this role, you will continue to build on the foundation started in March 2025 and specialise in real estate, property development, and construction roles. You will report directly to the Managing Director (Tavis Shearer), who brings over 25 years of recruitment experience, and operate from our Melbourne CBD office. Key responsibilities: Source and screen candidates for roles in property development, construction, real estate & related trades Develop and grow a client base of developers, builders, project managers, site managers, contract administrators, etc. Manage end-to-end recruitment processes (sourcing, screening, interviewing, placing) Build and manage your own desk, growing it over time Use a combination of digital sourcing, social media, networking, and CRM management Provide excellent candidate and client service — follow up, feedback, and aftercare To succeed, you’ll need to be resilient, self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. A key part of success is building strong relationships, presenting confidently, and remaining organised under pressure. Full training will be provided; no prior recruitment experience is required.
